StP history clearly reflects the changes in the last 30 years of the world: In Soviet Union times, our company, people and engineers were involved in cutting edge research to create and produce damping and acoustic materials for submarines. The need for perfect products (army and navy approved) was at the basis of the job in those years and became a staple part of StP culture.
StP, as a private company, was founded in 1996 and focused on research and development of damping and sound proofing materials for automotive field ever since. Today, StP consists of 5 plants, over 1’000 employees, Scientific Research Lab, Chemical Department and Acoustic Lab, all with latest technology and machinery needed to win the challenges of the global market. All of StP's research and manufacturing facilities are located in Ivanovo, Russia. Our current distribution chain covers over 40 countries around the world and is rapidly growing.
The relentless pursuit for highest possible quality resulted in a number of certificates we have obtained and are proud to present to our customers. StP is not only concerned with the quality of the final products, but with the quality of the manufacturing process, the machinery and the individuals involved in the process – we always aim to achieve the highest possible standards in all the steps.
At the moment StP already has a number of partners in automobile industry: Ford, Fiat, GAZ, AutoVaz to name a few. These partners are using some of our materials for their default sound proofing and vibration isolation in their car manufacturing process.
We strongly believe in improvement and competition and that’s why we engage in mobile audio competitions around the world – we are proud sponsors of EMMA and IASCA.
